Conflict of Interest
Financial disclosures, current editorial practice, and the mechanism for announcing change.
This page discloses NADFaq's commercial relationships and editorial practice so readers can independently assess objectivity. All material commercial relationships will be disclosed here.
Current editorial practice
As of the last update below, NADFaq:
- Runs no affiliate links and earns no commissions on supplement purchases.
- Carries no display advertising from supplement or pharmaceutical brands.
- Publishes no sponsored content, paid placements, or “in partnership with” articles.
- Accepts no free product, samples, discounted inventory, or lab-testing credits from brands covered editorially.
When NADFaq reviews a supplement brand, product is purchased at retail using editorial budget.
Change disclosure
If any of the above changes — for example, if a commercial relationship, sponsored content program, or affiliate arrangement is introduced — it will be disclosed on this page before the change takes effect, with a date-stamped entry. Affected content will be marked at the point of recommendation. This is a standing commitment; the current editorial model is a present-tense fact, not an irrevocable promise.
Ownership and funding
NADFaq operates at a loss during its launch phase and is funded by its owner. Planned future funding sources under consideration include a professional-tier subscription for researchers and clinicians, structured-data licensing to academic and research tools, and reader support. Any of these that are introduced will be disclosed here before they launch.
Contributor disclosures
Each contributor files an annual disclosure covering:
- Employment, consulting, or advisory relationships with supplement or pharmaceutical companies.
- Equity or royalty interests in NAD+-related companies or patents.
- Speaking fees, travel reimbursement, or honoraria received from supplement brands in the prior 24 months.
Disclosures appear on each contributor's author page. A contributor with a material financial interest in a specific product or brand does not review articles about that product.
Reporting a concern
